Srinagar, Feb. 23 -- A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday visited Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) to review emergency services following public concerns regarding the functioning of emergency departments in government hospitals.
The delegation was led by party spokesperson Mohammad Iqbal Tramboo and included former MLA Noor Mohammad Sheikh, spokesperson Zuhaib Yousuf Mir and former state secretary Arif Laigroo. The leaders met SKIMS Director Dr. Ashraf Ganai and raised complaints alleging that junior doctors and trainees were attending patients in emergency wings without adequate senior supervision.
