Srinagar, Jan. 11 -- Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma on Saturday reviewed security measures and the counter-infiltration grid along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir.

During the review, Sharma was briefed on counter-infiltration measures undertaken in hinterland areas to dominate the operational space, the Northern Command said in a post on X.

It said the Army commander emphasised the importance of a strong intelligence grid and close coordination with other security agencies for effective and timely response to emerging threats.
