Srinagar, March 18 -- The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Tuesday informed the Legislative Assembly that it has no plans to provide stipend to unemployed youth in the Union Territory.
In a written response to a question of MLA Samba Devinder Kumar Manyal, as per news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Minister in-charge Labour & Employment Surinder Choudhary informed the House that there is no plan to provide stipend to unemployed youth in the Union Territory.
"Currently there is no such plan to provide a stipend to the unemployed youth in the UT of J&K," the minister said.
The minister also disclosed that 370811 unemployed youth are registered with the government.
