SRINAGAR, Dec. 29 -- Department of Handicrafts and Handloom, Kashmir, today felicitated four of its renowned artisans who were recently conferred with the National Awards and Certificates of Excellence by the President of India at New Delhi.
MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq, presented Certificates of Excellence and mementoes to the awardees, including Manzoor Ahmad Khan for carpet weaving, Khawaja Nazir Ali for Sozni embroidery, Mir Arshad Hussain for papier mache and Mashkoora Begum, for Sozni embroidery, in a glittering ceremony, in IICT/ CDI premises at Bagh-e-Ali Mardan Khan, here.
