Gulmarg, Dec. 11 -- In a significant move to improve rural healthcare, MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah today distributed Blood Pressure machines and Glucometers among ASHA workers during a programme held in Kunzer.

Addressing the gathering, the MLA said that ASHA workers are the frontline pillars of community health, ensuring that essential health services reach every household. He praised their dedication, especially in remote and far-flung areas, and acknowledged the crucial role they play in early detection, health awareness, and patient support at the village level.
