Mumbai, Jan. 15 -- MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, on Wednesday attended the J&K Evening event organised by the Department of Tourism, Jammu & Kashmir, at the Islamic Gymkhana, Marine Lines, Mumbai.

The event witnessed participation from tourism stakeholders, travel operators, and other distinguished guests.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Farooq Ahmad Shah urged the participants to visit Kashmir, stating that the region offers world-class tourism experiences that are more affordable than international destinations like Switzerland.

He described Kashmir as a land blessed with pristine natural beauty, mesmerising meadows, and majestic mountains, making it one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the world.
