Srinagar, April 17 -- In a massive reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir Police, Rayees Mohammad Bhat was appointed as DIG CID, Kashmir and Sundeep Chakravarthy as SSP Srinagar.
The government on Thursday ordered major reshuffle in police department with the transfer and posting of 113 officers, 17 of them IPS rank, with immediate effect in the interest of administration.
According an order, Uttam Chand (IPS-2002) has been transferred and posted as IGP (Police Operations & Services) PHQ against available vacancy, Sarah (IPS-2008) has been posted as DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Sheikh Junaid Mehmood (IPS-2009) as DIG IR Kashmir against available vacancy, Umesh Kumar (IPS-2009) as DIG Training PHQ, against available vacancy.
