JAMMU, Jan. 23 -- The Labour Commissioner, J&K, Charandeep Singh, today reviewed the implementation and progress of the PradhanMantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM) scheme at a meeting with all Assistant Labour Commissioners (ALCs) of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, it was informed that 85,954 unorganised workers have been registered under PM-SYM in Jammu & Kashmir till date. The Labour Commissioner reviewed the ongoing registration drive and noted that necessary plans have already been put in place to further accelerate enrolment under the scheme, with a special focus on intensified field-level activities.
