SRINAGAR, Dec. 25 -- In recognition of its service to the farming community, SKUAST-K's Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Ganderbal has been honoured with the 'Best Krishi Vigyan Kendra Award' for its outstanding contributions to agricultural extension and rural empowerment.
The award was presented to the Head of KVK Ganderbal, Dr. Ajaz Ahmed Malik, during the three-day National Level Zonal Workshop of KVKs (Zone I) held at SKUAST-Jammu.
Instituted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) through the Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI Zone I, PAU Ludhiana), the award highlights KVK Ganderbal's exemplary role in bringing innovation-driven outreach to the doorsteps of farmers.
