Srinagar, Feb. 17 -- The 5th edition of the Khelo India Winter Games, originally scheduled to take place from February 22 to 25, 2025, has been postponed due to inadequate snowfall, the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council announced.
Officials stated that a fresh assessment of snow conditions will be conducted once the weather improves, and a revised schedule will be announced accordingly. The games, a flagship initiative aimed at promoting winter sports in India, were expected to attract top athletes from across the country.
