Srinagar, Feb. 25 -- Maximum temperatures across Jammu and Kashmir remained significantly above normal on Tuesday, with most places in the Kashmir Valley recording departures of 9 to 11 degrees Celsius above the seasonal average.

In Srinagar, the maximum temperature settled at 21.0degC, which is 10.0degC above normal - unchanged from Monday. Qazigund also remained steady at 21.2degC, hovering 11.1degC above average, one of the highest departures in the Valley.

Pahalgam recorded a slight rise to 17.6degC from 17.3degC a day earlier, while Kupwara dipped marginally to 20.4degC from 20.6degC. Kokernag saw a drop to 18.4degC compared to Monday's 19.0degC, though it continued to remain nearly 10degC above normal. Gulmarg held steady at 11.2d...
