LEH, Nov. 22 -- The Judicial Inquiry Commission today reiterated its commitment to safeguarding witnesses and complainants, urging people to come forward freely to assist the ongoing inquiry.

Addressing a press briefing at the Civil Secretariat, Joint Secretary to the Commission, Rigzin Spalgon, appealed to individuals to voluntarily submit their statements without fear. He emphasized that any attempt-by government officials, private individuals, or members of organisations-to intimidate, threaten, or harass someone to prevent them from providing information would invite strict legal action.
