Srinagar, April 12 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) on Thursday said it has taken up the matter of the abduction of a 16-year-old girl from Pulwama with the Director General of Police (DGP), Madhya Pradesh (MP), Kailash Makwana.
The minor girl was allegedly abducted on March 9 by a truck driver, Vishal Sharma, a resident of Rairu village of Gwalior.
JKSA said its national convenor Nasir Khuehami spoke to DGP Kailash Makwana, who "responded with immediate concern and assured prompt action."
MP DGP has issued instructions to SSP Gwalior, Dharamvir Yadav, to take up the case on a priority basis, constitute special teams, and intensify efforts to trace the abducted girl, read a statement issued by JKSA.
