BARAMULLA, June 2 -- Minister for Agriculture Production Department, Rural Development Department and Panchayati Raj, Javid Ahmed Dar, today visited several hailstorm-affected villages in Rafiabad to assess the crop damage and meet with the affected farmers.
During the visit, the Minister interacted with the farmers from Panzulla, Balhama, Ladu, Ladoora, Bramen, Khahmoo and Shaitloo villages, who had suffered crop losses due to the recent hailstorm. He expressed solidarity with the farming community and assured them that the government stands committed towards providing all possible support and assistance.
Javid Dar instructed the concerned departments to undertake an immediate assessment of damages and extend necessary relief measures.
