SHOPIAN, May 29 -- Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department is all set to undertake several initiatives aimed at enhancing pilgrim infrastructure at Pir Ki Gali and promoting environmental conservation along the Mughal Road.
As part of these efforts, the department will construct transit camps, build eco-friendly huts and undertake an aggressive and extensive plantation drive.
Minister for Forest, Ecology & Environment, Javed Ahmed Rana, issued on-spot directions to senior officers of the department in this regard during his visit to Pir Ki Gali today.
