JAMMU, Dec. 4 -- The Information Technology Department today convened a budget review meeting chaired by its Secretary Dr. Piyush Singla to assess the ongoing initiatives and budgetary requirements of the Jammu & Kashmir e-Governance Agency (JaKeGA) for 2026-27 fiscal.

CEO JaKeGA, Mahima Madan, presented key proposals including establishment of Disaster Recovery Centres, augmentation of the State Data Centre and scaling up of e-Office 2.0 to district and block levels. Besides, updates were also shared on IT infrastructure such as WiFi strengthening, cyber-security enhancements, digitization initiatives and the upcoming Internship Programme.
