Srinagar, Dec. 16 -- Income Tax Department, Srinagar, organised a tax awareness program at Mini Secretariat, Ganderbal today. Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Srinagar, Shakil Ahmad Ganie, IRS, addressed the gathering and emphasised on timely compliance and correct declaration of Income tax.
The importance of Income tax in national development was highlighted while also assuring the taxpayers of speedy grievance redressal and better awareness through more outreach programs.
