Srinagar, Jan. 15 -- The Indian Army on Tuesday marked the 10th Defence Forces Veterans' Day with a series of events and welfare initiatives across multiple locations in the Kashmir Valley, reaffirming its enduring commitment to the well-being and dignity of its veterans and their families.

The commemorative programmes were spearheaded by the Chinar Corps and executed by its constituent formations, including the Dagger Division, Vajr Division, Counter Insurgency Force (Kilo), and the Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry Regimental Centre. The events focused on honouring veterans, Veer Matas, Veer Naris and their families for their invaluable contribution to nation-building, while also addressing their concerns with sensitivity and respect.
