Srinagar, Jan. 15 -- The Indian Army on Wednesday commemorated the 10th Defence Forces Veterans' Day across multiple locations in the Kashmir Valley with a series of events and welfare initiatives aimed at honouring ex-servicemen and their families.
The commemorations were spearheaded by the Chinar Corps and executed by its formations, including the Dagger Division, Vajr Division, Counter Insurgency Force (Kilo), and the Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry Regimental Centre. The initiatives were primarily focused on felicitating veterans, Veer Matas, Veer Naris, and their families for their contribution to nation-building, while also addressing their concerns with due care and respect.
