Srinagar, April 13 -- In a significant stride towards inclusive development and national integration, the Indian Army's Vajr Division, under the aegis of Chinar Corps, in collaboration with the Aseem Foundation, has successfully electrified and LPG-enabled Simari - a remote border village in the Karnah Valley of Jammu & Kashmir.

Situated along the Line of Control, with part of the village extending into Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Simari holds immense strategic and democratic value as Polling Booth No. 1 of India.
