Srinagar, March 30 -- In a bid to enhance security measures and to keep eye on the national highway, police have installed advanced surveillance technology, including wall radar and thermal screening systems at Navayuga Tunnel Qazigund, Kulgam.

The newly installed systems are designed to monitor and detect concealed contrabands, Illegal weapons, and other illicit materials within vehicles, reinforcing efforts to prevent smuggling and detect potential threats along the NHW in real time, police said.
