Srinagar, March 17 -- In a recent crackdown, acting on specific intelligence input, the enforcement team South Kashmir laid a special Naka on the intervening night of 14th & 15th March 2025 and intercepted 02 vehicles carrying battery scrap and imposed penalties to the tune of Rs 6.31 Lakh under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime on taxpayers involved in the trading and transportation of battery scrap without proper GST documentation and compliance.
