Srinagar, March 19 -- The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday said that it will take up the matter of establishing Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) centers in Baramulla, Anantnag, and Srinagar with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
Minister I/C Health & Medical Education Department, as per the news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), confirmed that the matter would be taken up with the relevant central ministry.
The minister responsed to query raised by MLA Dr. Sajad Shafi, who sought clarification on whether the government would push for the establishment of FMGE examination centers in these locations to facilitate aspiring foreign medical graduates from the region.
