KATHUA, March 10 -- In its endeavours to promote and preserve the cultural and literary legacy of the region, the government has devised a multi-pronged strategy to revive and revitalise these fields in the Union Territory in general and Kathua district in particular.
Principal Secretary of Culture, Suresh Kumar Gupta, stated this during his extensive visit to the district. He said that instructions have been issued to the J&K Academy of Art, Cultural & Languages (JKAACL) for expediting the construction work on the Regional Cultural Centre, Kathua which would be a step forward in this direction.
