JAMMU, March 18 -- In view of the ensuing elections to Lok Sabha, the Jammu and Kashmir Election Office has issued guidelines with regard to printing and publication of election pamphlets, posters and related material across the Union Territory.
The Chief Electoral Officer today issued a public notice to all the registered printers and publishers of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, informing that the printing and publication of election pamphlets, posters etcetera is being governed by the provisions of section 127-A of Representation of Peoples Act, 1951.
