Ganderbal, May 20 -- The accused in the murder of Fayaz Ahmad Dar, a young readymade shop owner from Kachan Ganderbal, was arrested within hours of committing the heinous crime.
An official told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that the brutal murder, which took place in Kachhan Pirpora village last evening, sent shockwaves across the area.
According to the Station House Officer of Ganderbal, Sheikh Manzoor Ahmad, the absconding accused, identified as Manzoor Ahmed Wani, son of Abdul Rashid Wani from the same locality, was arrested near his home after extensive efforts and effective use of technology by Ganderbal Police.
