Srinagar, Dec. 20 -- Widespread fog over North India disrupted air traffic on Friday, severely affecting operations at Srinagar and Jammu airports, with 12 flights getting cancelled and 18 delayed.
"At Srinagar International Airport, seven flights were cancelled and twelve were delayed due to poor visibility and adverse weather at departure points, including Delhi, Amritsar and Kolkata. At Jammu Airport, five flights were cancelled and eight delayed, bringing the total to 12 cancellations and 18 delays across both airports," officials said as reported by news agency KNO.
At Srinagar, airlines most affected included IndiGo, Air India and SpiceJet, while at Jammu, Air India, SpiceJet and AirAsia experienced significant disruptions.
