Srinagar, March 2 -- The Jammu and Kashmir government has assigned the charge of Chairman J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) and Director SCERT to Financial Commissioner Education Department Shantmanu.
The notification in this regard was issued by the General Administration Department (GAD).
As per the notification, the decision has been taken by the government in exercise of the powers conferred by section (1) of section 1w of Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, Act 1975.
"The government hereby orders that Shantmanu, Financial Commissioner, School Education Department, shall discharge the function of Chairman JKBOSE and Director SCERT, in addition to his own duties," the notification reads.
