JAMMU, Dec. 2 -- A meeting of the Committee on Petitions of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held today under the Chairmanship of Pirzada Farooq Ahmad Shah at the Assembly Complex, Jammu.

Members, Salman Sagar, Mushtaq Guroo, Vijay Kumar, besides the Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Manoj Kumar Pandit, were also present in the meeting.

The Committee had a threadbare discussion on two Petitions regarding the appointment of Lumberdar Porwara and confirmation thereof and the unlawful land acquisition at Zaloosa, Charar-i-sharief, Budgam.
