Srinagar, Feb. 23 -- Member of Parliament from Baramulla, Engineer Rashid, has approved development works exceeding Rs.21 lakh under the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme for the 2025-26 financial year, focusing on higher education support and eco tourism promotion in North Kashmir.
The party confirmed that the District Development Commissioner Baramulla has granted administrative sanction to a set of projects spread across the constituency.
Among the major allocations is Rs.15.019 lakh for procurement of a 17-seater vehicle for Government Degree College Uri to address persistent transportation constraints faced by students travelling from remote and border belts. The move is expected to ease daily commuting challenges...
