Srinagar, May 26 -- The Meteorological department predicted dry weather with possibility of brief spells of rain and gusty winds at isolated and scattered places in Jammu and Kashmir till May 31.
The MeT said that there will be generally hot and dry weather with possibility of brief spell of light rain at isolated places mainly towards late afternoon on May 25-26.
It said from May 27-31, there is a possibility of brief spells of rain and thundershowers at scattered to many places accompanied with intense showers and gusty winds at few places in Jammu and Kashmir.
It also said that from June 1-2, a brief spell of light rain & thundershower at isolated places is expected.
