Srinagar, Dec. 1 -- Police in Sopore have arrested a drug peddler and recovered psychotropic substance from his possession.
A police spokesperson informed that at a checkpoint near Samad Complex, police intercepted and later arrested Waseem Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat, resident of Badambagh Sopore, after his personal search yielded psychotropic substances.
A case has been registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation initiated.
