JAMMU, Jan. 11 -- Dr Romesh Kumar's book, "Happy Schools: Placing Happiness at the Heart of Schools", has made it to the University of California, Berkeley's Greater Good Science Centre's (GGSC) Favourite Books List for Educators 2025.
Notably, "Happy Schools" is the only Indian title featured in this predominantly international list.
The GGSC, a respected institution promoting well-being and positive education, praised the book as "thought-provoking, inspirational and practical". This recognition highlights Dr Kumar's work on happiness, mental health and well-being in schools.
