JAMMU, Jan. 30 -- Secretary, Department of Information Technology, Dr. Piyush Singla, today chaired a high-level review meeting held at the Civil Secretariat to deliberate upon various projects proposed to be taken up and those already in the pipeline by the Department of Information Technology, Jammu and Kashmir government.
Disaster recovery mechanisms constituted a major part of the discussion, with emphasis on ensuring that mission-critical departmental operations remain functional and can be restored immediately in the event of any disaster or system failure. The focus remained on building a resilient IT infrastructure capable of supporting uninterrupted governance under all circumstances.
