Srinagar, Sept. 2 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday assigned the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Information Department to Dr Piyush Singla, IAS (AGMUT:2012).
Dr Singla is presently serving as Secretary, Information Technology Department, and also holding the charge of Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department.
As per the order, he will look after the Information Department till M. Raju, IAS (AGMUT:2005), returns from leave.
The arrangement has been made "in the interest of administration" to ensure the smooth functioning of departments.
