JAMMU, Sept. 13 -- Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar, on Saturday, chaired a high-level meeting to review the relief and restoration works in the districts of the Jammu division post heavy rains and floods.
During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner took a detailed assessment of damages to public infrastructure and the status of essential services, including power, water and road connectivity in each district.
The Chief Engineer JPDCL informed that electricity has been restored in all affected areas. Similarly, the Jal Shakti Department reported that barring a few areas, the water supply has been largely restored.
