SRINAGAR, Dec. 5 -- The Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir today celebrated 'World Soil Day 2025' across the entire Kashmir Division through a series of awareness and extension programmes.
Addressing the gathering at the main event organised at the Directorate Complex, Lal Mandi, Srinagar, Joint Director Agriculture (Extension) Kashmir, Madan Gopal Singh, emphasised that healthy soil is the foundation of food security and environmental sustainability. He called upon farmers to adopt balanced fertilisation, organic inputs, crop rotation and conservation agriculture practices to preserve soil fertility for future generations.
