SRINAGAR, Feb. 13 -- Director, Sheep Husbandry Department (SHD), Kashmir, Dr Rafiq Ahmad Shah, today chaired a review meeting at the Directorate, Lal Mandi, Srinagar, to assess the progress of expenditure and implementation of schemes under the UT CAPEX Budget, HADP, CSS, NABARD, and other ongoing programmes for the financial year 2025-26.
During the meeting, item-wise expenditure, physical and financial achievements, and the status of works being executed across districts were reviewed. Key initiatives, including the Elite Sheep Mission and the Animal Identification Project, were discussed, along with infrastructure gaps in departmental hospitals and reasons for low expenditure wherever observed.
