SRINAGAR, May 23 -- Several deputations from various areas today called on Minister for FCS&CA, Transport, Youth Service and Sports, Satish Sharma, seeking prompt redress of long pending grievances related to public services and employment.
A deputation from Basohli raised the urgent demand for starting a bus service from Basohli to Chamba. The delegation highlighted lack of direct transportation between the two regions, which is causing inconvenience to residents especially the students, daily commuters and patients requiring medical assistance in nearby towns. They urged the Minister to take prompt action to improve regional connectivity through public transport.
