JAMMU, Dec. 17 -- Two separate delegations today called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Jammu and raised issues of public and student interest.

A delegation of residents from Village Lalyal, Marh, led by former Minister and senior BJP leader Sukhnandan Choudhary, met the Lieutenant Governor and apprised him of various local developmental concerns and civic issues affecting the area.

Separately, a delegation of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), led by its J&K Organising Secretary Tilak Thakur, also called on the Lieutenant Governor. The delegation discussed matters related to students' welfare, education, and youth-related issues in the Union Territory.
