Srinagar, March 31 -- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, has conveyed warmest wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Dr Bilal, in his message, extended his good wishes to the people on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The festival is marked as the occasion when the month-long fasting (Roza) of Ramadan comes to an end. Eid-Ul-Fitr symbolizes the need to perform deeds of charity by giving Zakat to the poor and needy, and giving back to the community by engaging in humanitarian acts.
