KULGAM, Dec. 21 -- Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan on Sunday launched the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI)-2025 programme by administering Pulse Polio drops to a newborn at District Hospital (DH) Kulgam as part of the campaign.
He also reviewed the arrangements put in place for the smooth conduct of the immunization drive.
The DC also stressed that achieving 100 percent coverage is essential to maintaining the district's polio-free status.
He further urged to ensure that every child in the 0-5 years of age group receives polio drops and appealed to the public to extend full cooperation to health workers during booth-based and door-to-door vaccination activities.
