BARAMULLA, Nov. 24 -- In a step towards ensuring housing for all eligible beneficiaries, DC Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, in the presence of Executive Officer MC Watergam, Sarafraz Ahmad Bhat, today handed over sanction letters under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban (PMAY-U) 2.0 to 20 eligible beneficiaries from Municipal Committee Watergam.
The DC congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to start construction work at the earliest. He highlighted that timely initiation would enable them to receive subsequent installments on schedule and complete their houses within the prescribed timeframe. He also emphasized the importance of adhering to construction guidelines, maintaining quality, and ensuring transparency throughout the process.
