SRINAGAR, Dec. 26 -- Director Agriculture Kashmir (DAK), Sartaj Ahmad Shah, today inaugurated a training program on functionality and application of 'National pest surveillance system' (NPSS) at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi Srinagar.

The program was attended by nodal officers of districts for NPSS across the Kashmir division.

The Director, in his inaugural address, highlighted the significance of NPSS. He said organising such programs would help the capacity building of the concerned officers.

During the programme, a detailed presentation was delivered on the objectives, functionality, and various dimensions of the NPSS, focusing on its practical application for pest surveillance, data collection, and decision-making support.
