Kupwara, March 15 -- The court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Handwara has ordered an investigation into allegations of unhygienic sale of uncovered meat and cheese in public markets.
The order was passed by CJM Manzoor Hussain following a formal complaint filed by Advocate Mir Imran, alleging that vendors are openly displaying and selling uncovered meat and cheese, posing a risk to public health.
The court after taking cognizance of the complaint has instructed the police in Handwara and Kupwara to come up with a thorough investigation within 15 days regarding the allegations of unhygienic sale of meat and cheese in the area.
