JAMMU, Dec. 16 -- Controller Legal Metrology Jammu & Kashmir, Shiv Kumar Gupta, held a serious of important engagements today, reaffirming the department's proactive, facilitative and consumer-centric approach.
These engagements included an interaction with the Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) and a high-level review meeting with Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
During the meeting with a delegation of BBIA led by its President Lalit Mahajan, the delegation highlighted the need for simpler procedures, improved inter-departmental coordination and enhanced awareness of Legal Metrology provisions to ensure smooth, transparent and hassle-free compliance by industrial units.
