Srinagar, Feb. 18 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday alleged that a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament from Jammu and Kashmir spent the bulk of his Constituency Development Funds in Uttar Pradesh instead of the Union Territory.
Talking to reporters here in Srinagar, Abdullah said that RS member, Ghulam Ali Khatana, who was sent to Parliament by the BJP through nomination, utilized more than 90 percent of his CDF allocation in Uttar Pradesh.
The Chief Minister, said that Khatana belongs to Jammu and Kashmir, resides in the Union Territory, and has official accommodation here, yet chose to spend most of development funds outside the region.
