SAMBA, Dec. 26 -- Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Jammu & Kashmir, Sanjeev Verma, today conducted the mandatory quarterly inspection of the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) warehouse of Samba district at the District Administrative Complex, here.
The inspection was conducted jointly by Deputy Commissioner Samba, Ayushi Sudan, along with Nodal Officer for EVM, J&K, Sandesh Kumar Gupta and Deputy District Election Officer, Sunil Angral. Representatives of recognised political parties were also present during the inspection, in accordance with prescribed electoral procedures.
