Srinagar, Feb. 6 -- Baramulla Police has arrested a fake saint and urged the public to refrain from sharing misinformation.
In a statement to news agency JKNS, the police said that Baramulla Police had apprehended an individual, namely Abdul Razak Lone, son of Gh. Ahmad Lone, a resident of Waripora Kunzar, whose video had recently gone viral on social media.
The individual had constructed a structure resembling the Holy Kaaba, which was later voluntarily demolished by locals during the night.
A preliminary inquiry suggests that the individual appears to be mentally unsound. As per due legal procedure, a necessary medical evaluation will be conducted, and he will be taken to a psychiatric hospital after obtaining the requisite orders from...
