SRINAGAR, May 14 -- Secretary of the Planning Development & Monitoring Department, Aijaz Asad today chaired a meeting at the Civil Secretariat here to review the progress under the Border Area Development Programme (BADP).
The Secretary reviewed the physical and financial progress achieved under the ambitious programme in the border districts of J&K. The districts include Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara.
He had exhaustive interaction with each of the District Development Commissioners regarding the implementation status of the Scheme in their respective districts.
